This is the LCD only, so you reuse the original backlight, which adds an extra step compared to the DIY guides online of how to change the BMW mk4 nav screen. That said, it’s not much additional work and the end result is excellent. Bright colours, high contrast, possibly even more vivid than originally! Horizontal screen adjustment necessary prior to final assembly. Chip on PCB is marked Sharp, so appears to be genuine OEM.

On X5 E53 LCD display approached as a native. Installed, works. A little had to shift the image horizontally. Brightness is a lot, I had to remove half in the settings. The seller quickly answered all my questions and promptly sent the display to my address. For this, all five stars!

Screen is good however the Horizontal display needs to be adjusted. Everything needs to shift left 1/4". I have seen other buyers report the same issue. Would be nice if the seller can address this issue.
